We are still here! It has been a busy summer! I have also not updated a lot because our “sunroom” is not air conditioned and our computer is in that room! It has been too hot to sit at the computer!!! So I will share some pictures to show you our summer!

Mom, Rachel, Olivia and I went to Indiana to visit my Uncle Don and his family while they were visiting from PA. While we were there we also got to visit with my Aunt Teresa and Roger! It was a great visit! We all wished it could have lasted longer!

Over the 4th of July we visited with Brian, Val, Caleb, Toby and Ellie! Adam was also along for the fun! Olivia saw fireworks for this first time! She liked them, but then got a little bored so she started jumping on Caleb and Toby! It was nice spending a long weekend with family!

Eric and I won four free tickets to H*liday W*rld in May so we decided to take Rachel and John on Rachel’s birthday! We had a lot of fun! Olivia got to spend the whole day with Nanny and Grandpa! It was way too hot for her to go! Maybe next year! Olivia and I also spent a long weekend in Illinois for Rachel’s birthday! We had a great time!

She got bored after waking up and decided to fold the bed up and sit in the bottom! Only at Nanny and Grandpa’s house! Haha!

Papa and Grandma made a quick visit last week! It was great seeing them! They have been on a whirlwind trip from San Antonio to KY to West Virigina to Maryland to Indiana to St. Louis and finally Kansas City! Hopefully they will be closer soon so time between visits won’t be so long!

Last weekend we went to Murray to visit with Pup, Jaclyn and their family. Olivia loved playing with Luke and Norah! We were hoping baby Caroline would be born while we were there. We had a great weekend of just hanging out and relaxing!

So, I missed my Wordless Wednesday last week! I will use the excuse that I just had too much to say! Haha!

Last weekend we went camping with some friends of ours. We had a great time even though it was pretty hot! There were 11 kids and 9 adults! On Saturday we went for a 2-mile hike. It was hot, but a lot of fun! After our hike we put took our chairs down and sat in the little creek behind our campsites. The kids had a great time splashing in the water! For dinner that night we did a shrimp boil and it was very yummy!!!

On Monday, we worked in the yard. My mom came over and helped me plant lots of flowers and pull weeds. Eric also trimmed the tree limbs. It looks so much better!!! I love having a yard!!!!

This last Saturday I ran/walked in a 5K in St. Louis with three of my friends! I was so glad I had my friend, Christine to run with that day! I don’t know if I would have made it without her! We started training for this 5K about a month ago and I have been surprised at myself! I am not a runner, but this is starting to be kind of fun! It’s probably has to do with getting to hang out with friends too!

Also this weekend we have had a great visit with Papa and Grandma! Olivia has loved playing with them! Mike and Jennie have really helped us get a lot of things straightened out in the house. I promise the pictures of the house are coming soon. We almost have everything settled!

We are still here! I am sorry that it has been such a long time between posts! We have been pretty busy! Here are the highlights!

* In April we drove to Chatham, IL (near Springfield) to see Eric’s Grandma while she was visiting Eric’s Uncle Jim and his family. It was a quick visit, but we had a great time!!! While we were there I interviewed Grandma about her life and we video taped it. I am so excited to see how it will turn out. It was a great experience!

*We drove home from Springfield to attend the St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness dinner/auction. They invited the area’s chemo nurses and we were honored during the dinner. We had a good night even though we didn’t win any of the silent auction items we bid on.

*At the end of April we went home to IL for the memorial ride. I didn’t get any pictures from the ride this year because it was rainy. I didn’t even ride this year. I was really glad I didn’t when it poured down rain on the last leg! While we were home we drove down to Marion to see my Grandma and Grandpa Price. It was nice out that day so Olivia explored all around their house. Grandma even got to come outside with her oxygen tank.

*We have also moved! We now live closer to church and all of our friends. We moved with the help of some family and a few great friends! I was so glad to see so many! They got us moved fairly quickly! I know a few people want to see pictures, but I want to get our house settled first. I forgot to mention that we moved into a house! It has only been a week, but it has been great! We are still renting. Here is a picture of the front of the house for now.

*Olivia has been healthy except for a couple of runny noses since her surgery! It has been great to see her feeling well again!

I think that pretty much catches us up so far! I am going to try and post more often. I have a few ideas that I have seen on a few of my friend’s blogs. I might give them a try and see how it works!

We had Olivia’s 15 month check up today! The doctor said her ears looked great! She is happy with her development! She was kind of surprised that her vocabulary is so good already! Olivia now weighs 22 lbs 4 oz, in the 45%. She is 30 3/4 in, in the 80%. Our new plan is to transition off the bottle and off the pacifier. I know both will be hard, but I am not sure yet who it will be more difficult for, me or her! Don’t get me wrong, I want these things, but she is still my baby!

We had a great Easter! The weather was beautiful! We went to church with my family and the service was wonderful! It really emphasized the real meaning of Easter and what the Resurrection truly means for us! The picture of Olivia is before church. She got a basket from with a little bunny and Grandpa had to put P*eeps in. I did not let her eat them, but she liked carrying them around!

After church we went to my aunt’s house for yummy barbeque and a little egg hunting. There ended up being only 2 little ones this year because some were home sick. Olivia turned out to be a quick learner!
