New developments
I know this is a bit soon for my normal posting (haha!), but in the last week Olivia has had some new developments. Of course I had to share them!
Last Wednesday Eric went into get Olivia out of bed and found her on her hands and knees. She is now getting to her hands and knees, rocking back and forth, scooting her knees and dives forward to get to things she wants. She also rolls around on the floor to get to what she wants. She also likes to scoot around on her belly to get places! I don’t think we realized how quickly she would start moving. We have been talking about the baby gate we need for the top of the stairs and now we know we have to get it soon!
Now when Olivia gets excited she bounces and waves her arms. It is really cute! She is also starting to giggle more. I can sometimes get her to giggle by tickling her just right, but for the last few days she will just giggle for no apparent reason which makes us laugh and the she laughs again!
We tried green beans this morning for the first time. She ate every spoonful I gave her, but she had a look the whole time, like “uh, mom, what are you trying to give me?” I can only imagine what she was thinking especially since the only taste she knows is breast milk!
And finally…Olivia can now sit on her own!!! She can’t get into the sitting position on her own yet, but she is really close!

She actually had both arms stretched out like she was trying to reach the ends too!
