Happy Veterans’ Day!
I know it has been a while since I posted. I don’t think a lot has gone on since my last post. I have worked and had days off. Eric has been subing a lot. He worked everyday this week except one! I went home for my sister’s homecoming at school. I went with her to get her hair done. I can’t believe that she is old enough to go to a "high school" dance. I remember going to dances! She looked beautiful! See pictures in the gallery.
Eric and I went to a new church on Sunday. We decided to start looking for a new church. We really like Grace, but it just feels so big. I tried to get involved and I just don’t feel connected. The church we went to was nice. It was smaller, which was good. The worship was ok. (I am spoiled when it comes to worship music because of MCF. ) We saw two boys about 12 and 7 that had mohawks. The older one had a mohawk-mullet. I would expect to see something like that in Southern Illinois, Kentucky or Tennessee(I can say that I did live in two of the places!) not in a "nicer" area of St. Louis. But, going back to a post of Val’s; mullets still may be something lurking around St. Louis!
My birthday was Monday. Eric got me a new book from a great author that I love to read. I got a great new brown corderoy(did I spell that right?) jacket. It is great! We also got the wisemen for our Willow Tree Nativity set. Now we have everything, except the wooden background. I can hardly wait to get the set out and put it up!
For those I havn’t talked to: My brother, Kyle, and his fiancee, Brea, are going to be having a girl. Her name is Madison! I am very excited! Kyle is in Iraq and he is supposed to be home at the end of February and Brea is due at the end of March.
Finally for those who are wanting to see my disaster of a cake, I am going to put it in the photo gallery.
Happy Friday!
