I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. It was nice to be home with my family, but did miss Eric’s family!
Drum roll please…..I made a blackberry cobbler! A patient of mine gave me a bag of frozen blackberries and a recipe. It looked easy enough so I tried it! It was a very popular item at our Thanksgiving dinner!!! It made me very happy!!! I will not let it go to my head however because I will not forget the birthday cake incident(see picture)!!! Maybe now I will not be so afraid to venture out into the world of cooking! I posted a picture in the gallery in the album as the cake!
p.s. The pictures from the Martin Family Fall Retreat are under Eric’s family.

Eric and I are attending a thing called Super Suppers at our church. It is a get to know you better at someone’s house. Who ever the host is decides what to make and has the attendees to bring something. Make sense? Anyway, we are supposed to bring bread. She is having roast beef and mashed potatos. She said it was something like meat over the potatos. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have no idea of what kind of bread to bring. Thank you!!!

We decided to go camping for our birthdays. We went November 3-5th. It was kind of cold, but not freezing. It was just the two of us and we had soo much fun! It was really nice to just get away from the business of everyday life! We hope to have pictures posted soon. (once I remember how do it!)
