Our Valentine’s day not celebrated on Valentine’s day
Last week Eric and I went to a Chris Thile(of Nickel Creek) concert. It was a great bluegrass concert! Eric knew Chris from Murray State. It has been a while since they have seen each other and Chris was excited to see Eric. Of course we left the camera in the car, but someone did take our picture on our cell phone!
Last Christmas, I won a free one night stay at the Ritz Carlton Hotel so we decided to use the certificate that night also. The room we stayed in was sooo nice! There was a small balcony that had an amazing view! Everything from the linens to the towels was soft and comfortable. There was even a mini bar with 4.00 soda and 4.00 candy bars. Needless to say, we did not touch the mini bar!!! We were trying to figure out the check out time and we found it on the sign on the back of the door. You know the one with the fire escape route and usually the price of the room. Well…the price of the room was 699.00 per night. Can you believe that??? First of all, who has that kind of money? I am glad we enjoyed it because we will never be able to do that again! Unless we win the lottery or something, but I guess you would have to play to win.
