Our busy June
We have been staying pretty busy in June. We went to Colorado Springs the first week and it was wonderful. Colorado is beautiful and we really had a great time! I am going to try and post some pictures of our trip in the gallery.
The Sunday after we got back we went to a Cardinals game with my friend, Lori. She won the tickets! We were sitting right behind the dugout! It was sooo much fun even with the rain!!!
The next weekend I went with my family to North-central Illinois for a "Freedom Run" to the Middle East conflicts memorial wall. It includes conflicts from Desert Storm to present. There were between 45,000-50,000 motorcycles. I have never seen so many bikes in one place.
This weekend we went to the Muny at midnight. The Muny is a big outdoor theater in Forest Park. We watched the final dress rehersal of Grease for free. Someone I used to work with has a daughter in the musical. Every Sunday before the opening of the show they have what’s called a "Midnight to 5" run. It is free and I think it is open to the public, but not many people know about it. We didn’t leave there until after 4 am. I was pretty tired, but it was fun!
With only one weekend left in June we are going to try and relax, I guess, unless other plans come along!!
