One warm day for a wagon ride!

It was in the 50s even though there was still some snow on the ground!

She LOVED riding in her new wagon. Thanks Papa and Grandma!

Olivia wanted to take her turn pulling the wagon.

It has been a very crazy month since our last post. We are all very very ready for warmer weather. We are also ready for there to be no more sickness in our house!
The week after our last post we had to go back to the doctor because Olivia started vomiting and really not wanting to eat or drink anything. Turns out that the flu bug went through everyone in our church nursery (not daycare this time!). Also at the doctor visit we found out Olivia had an ear infection in her right ear. So not only did she have a stomach bug, but she also had a double ear infection while on antibiotics. They changed our antibiotic. Eric also started a second round of antibiotics that week. The flu bug that Olivia had also passed to Eric, my mom, my stepdad and my brother. My mom was able to come and stay with Olivia so that we could work!
Olivia and Eric did fine for about a week. Then Eric started with a cough that lasted for about a week so he went to the doctor for his third round of antibiotics. He is finally feeling better!!! That same week Olivia woke up in the middle of the night crying. She had a horrible barking “seal” cough and had trouble breathing. It was pretty scary! We took her to the ER and found out she had croup. I will never forget that cough! While there they said she had an ear infection so we started on her third round of antibiotics.
We went back to the doctor this last week for a recheck of her ear. She still has an ear infection in her left ear. We have now started on her fourth antibiotic for this persistent infection. We go back next week while she is still on the medicine. If her ear looks better then that’s great…exactly what we want. If her her still looks infected then her doctor may refer us to a specialist for tubes in her ears. Either way I am praying that she feels better soon!!!
Somehow through all of this God has kept me well! I am so thankful!
